Grand Prince

The king is sick, so Lee Kang tries to acquire the legacy, but Hwi appears and obtains it instead. Meanwhile, Ja Hyeon is protesting against her forceful marriage, but soon she is happy to see Hwi again, her true love.

We are put back in time to see how Hwi and Ja Hyeon first met. Jahyeon was being deceived by a sneaky shop owner, but Hwi saves her. After some time, Ja Hyeon somehow finds herself in Hwi's room, and they accidentally meet again.

Ja Hyeon helps Hwi cure his arm, and encounters Lee Kang for the first time. After some time, Lee Kang and Hwi visit Ja Hyeon's place for a party. Lee Kang feels something special about Ja Hyeon.

Hwi sends Ja Hyeon gifts and letters, and soon they have a date, developing their relationship. The next day, Lee Kang appears in front of Ja Hyeon and forcefully asks her to marry him. She refuses, and Hwi comes to rescue her.

Hwi and Ja Hyeon's relationship matures as time passes. However Ja Hyeon finds out Hwi is a prince and disappoints, but soon Hwi delivers his honest feelings and they eventually promise to get married.

The king becomes unwell, yet Lee Kang plots a sneaky plan. Meanwhile, Hwi and Ja Hyeon does a private wedding, becoming an official couple. However, Hwi has to go to war to protect the country, and Ja Hyeon promises to wait.

Hwi and Ja Hyeon spends the night together, and the next morning Lee Kang escorts her home safe. Meanwhile, Hwi goes into the enemy's base for peace negotiation. However, the Joseon army attacks while Hwi is still there, and he is in danger.

People back in Joseon believes Hwi is dead, except Ja Hyeon. Lee Kang comforts Ja Hyeon for her grief, and his wife sees this with anger. Meanwhile, Hwi and his followers are captured by the enemy.

After three years, Hwi comes back from the wilderness. He sees the king before the king passes away. Joseon is surprised to see Hwi back alive, including Ja Hyeon, and the couple meet again. Meanwhile, Hwi and Lee Kang confronts each other.

Hwi and Ja Hyeon spends time going to their honeymoon house, having a good time. Soon they have their wedding ceremony, but it is soon ruined by assassins who are employed by Lee Kang.

Hwi is falsely accused of rebellion, and is locked inside jail. Lee Kang threatens Ja Hyeon and Hwi to give up. Meanwhile, Ja Hyeon goes to Lee Kang and falls on her knees, asking him to save Hwi. However, Lee Kang wants something else.

Hwi is banished from the city, leaving Ja Hyeon behind. Lee Kang continuously woos Ja Hyeon, but she is stubborn. Meanwhile, Hwi survives an assassin's attack from the help of his friend.

Hwi falls off the cliff after being hit by an arrow. People believe is dead, and Ja Hyeon seeks revenge. Meanwhile, Lee Kang now grabs power and becomes king.

Ja Hyeon is captured for threatening the King's life, and the Queen is furious. Meanwhile, Hwi is found alive, and in fact he wanted people to believe he was dead.

Ja Hyeon is saved by Hwi, and they meet again with joy. However, after seeing the traces of torturing on Ja Hyeon's arm, Hwi is furious. He prepares to overthrow the king.

Hwi spreads messages that criticizes the king. The king is furious, yet his body becomes abnormal with skin symptoms, which further poisons his sanity. Meanwhile, Hwi and his group saves the young former king.

Ja Hyeon deceives the king by telling him that her mind is turning towards him, and that she wants to be queen. However, the Queen also deceives the king by telling him she is pregnant. Meanwhile, Hwi has other plans to overthrow the king.

Lee Kang's dictatorship lays complaints from the subordinates. Hwi, on the other hand, builds up his plan by making allies. On the revolution day, Hwi and his men are ready, yet his plans are now revealed to the king due to a betrayer.

Hwi's plans are disclosed, and Ja Hyeon is captured in the palace. Soon Hwi breaks into the palace and confronts Lee Kang along with his men.

Hwi and Lee Kang fights the inevitable battle and the king loses. The revolution ends with Hwi's victory, and the palace finds peace once again, along with Ja Hyeon and Hwi's relationship.
