The first episode explores the origins of Western theatre, the differences that different actors bring to the same role, and the processes involved in creating a character.
The second episode explores the director's contribution to character development, how an actor deals with their ego, improvisation, and the fears and anxieties that precede a performance.
The third episode explores the different schools of thought on interpretation that originated around the world but found resonance here, such as Stanislavski, Brecht, Meyerhold, Artaud, and Grotowski.
The fourth episode investigates how different dramatic techniques and schools contributed to the evolution of the art of acting as we know it today in Brazil.
