The Fated Magical Princess: Who Made Me a Princess

Athanasia was born a princess of the Obelia Empire. A prophetic dream shows her a future where she is banished by her merciless father, Emperor Claude. From a very young age, Athanasia refuses to accept that future. To change her fate, she begins fighting it fiercely, using her intelligence and charm as weapons. Amidst all that, a maid is seen behaving rather suspiciously in the palace.

As part of her plan to escape her fate, Athanasia continues to gather valuables from around the palace. But the recent incident has prompted increased security and an inspection of all the rooms! Athanasia looks for somewhere safe to hide her treasures and finds a building that looks empty. It seems perfect, but when she goes to hide her treasures, she runs into the last person she wants to see!

Lilian and Athanasia are summoned to an audience with Claude where he informs them that he will oversee Athanasia's wellbeing from now on. The last thing Athanasia wants is to attract his attention, but he insists on having tea together. He's always been so cold toward her. Why is he so interested now? Is it all part of the tragic fate she's trying to escape?

Athanasia notices that Claude's face, and the faces of those around him, grow grim at any mention of her mother, Diana. One day at tea, Athanasia expresses her opinion of her tea. Hearing her words, Claude leaves their tea party. It seems that her opinion is exactly the same as one that her mother once gave. Will the relationship between father and daughter grow distant once more?

Duke Alpheus suddenly shows up at the palace. In Athanasia's dreams, he's an ambitious man who uses Jennette to advance his own position. Alarmed at the fact that things have started happening differently than in her dreams, Athanasia finds an ancient book that will help her in practicing magic. When she begins her training, the mysterious great wizard Lucas appears before her with a warning.

Athanasia falls into a coma from which Lucas saves her. She is told that she collapsed because her magical energy overflowed, and she's given highly skilled tutors to help her learn to control her magic, but she shows no signs of improvement. Then, she makes a certain deal with Lucas.

Athanasia starts her magical training with Lucas, but she shows no signs of improvement at all. She grows dissatisfied with Lucas' teaching methods and begins comparing him with Duke Alpheus' son Ijikiel. Lucas says, "If you're so interested in him, then...," and uses his magic to send Athanasia to Ijikiel.

Athanasia's regrets about the way she left Ijikiel prompt her to ask Lucas to send her back to the duke's house. In the midst of her conversation with Ijikiel, a girl with the same jeweled eyes as Athanasia appears—Jennette. In Athanasia's dreams, Jennette was the heir to the Obelia Empire, beloved by her father, Claude, and everyone around her. Complicated feelings stir within Athanasia's heart.

In the Obelia Empire, when children turn fourteen, they debut into society, which involves performing a dance in a public space. As Athanasia's fourteenth birthday and her debutante ball approach, she practices her dancing with Lucas, leading to a rumor that he will be her partner for her debut dance. But in her heart, Athanasia has a different partner she'd like to dance with.

As Athanasia prepares for her debut, she frets over her father's answer, and wonders what Ijikiel is like now.

The day of Athanasia's debutante ball has finally arrived. Claude escorts her, at her request, and together the two begin to dance amidst the music. Ijikiel also appears at the ball, and as the hall grows more lively, Duke Alpheus approaches Claude to offer a certain proposal.

Since her debutante ball, Athanasia has received many invitations to parties held by the nobility, but Claude won't allow her to leave the grounds. That's when Athanasia decides to host a tea party within the palace grounds. And among the girls invited to the party is also a certain young lady!

Athanasia and Ijikiel reunite at the library. Ijikiel approaches Athanasia in an attempt to get closer, but just at that moment, Lucas appears. Later, Athanasia goes into town with Lucas to look for return gifts for what she received at the tea party. As they enjoy their time together shopping, the two of them happen to spot a certain person.

After persuading Claude, Athanasia is added to the district of Aug's monster hunting mission as a wizard. Athanasia travels with Felix to visit Aug, but soon after they arrive, monsters attack. Will Athanasia be able to overcome this crisis?

In order to save her father, Claude, who has fallen into a coma, Athanasia enters his mind. Within his thoughts, she is reunited with her mother, Diana, who tells her the truth behind the prophetic dreams she's had since she was a young girl.
